Leaping Livers 2020

We’re happy to announce that Leaping Livers Lapping the Lagoon 2020 raised just over $100,000 for the Liver Transplant Unit at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Due to unprecedented times with the outbreak of COVID-19, this year was the first time we had to cancel our annual physical walk around Narrabeen Lagoon and turn it into a ‘virtual’ Leaping Livers Lapping the Lagoon.

With your support and enthusiasm, it was great to see staff, patients and families take on the new “Do 9, Nominate 9” virtual challenge and encouraged their co-workers, family and friends to participate.

On behalf of all of us in the Liver Transplant Unit, we want to echo our sincere THANK YOU to everyone who participated and donated this year. Your generous support will go a long way in providing equipment and services for those affected by childhood liver disease and transplantation so that each child has the best outcomes to live a healthier life.

Stay tuned for the 2021 date. For any enquiries, please contact Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation Event Manager, Katrina Topfer.
