Meet Indi, Our Inspiring Patient Ambassador

Little Indiana, lovingly called "Indi," is a cheerful four-year-old who loves collecting seashells on the beach and roasting marshmallows on family camping trips. Despite her bright spirit, she has faced more health challenges than most encounter in a lifetime. Diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a rare liver disease, Indi underwent a liver transplant at just five-and-a-half months old. The Liver Transplant Unit at The Children's Hospital at Westmead provided extraordinary care for Indi, and she now lives life like any other preschoolerl. Indi's family is incredibly grateful and has joined us as this year's patient ambassadors for the Leaping Livers Lapping the Lagoon event.
